Monticello Floors is a totally vertical mill, from yarn extrusion all the way thru to carpet manufacturing. Above begins the first step, combining color pigment with resin to make color concentrate for solution dyed yarn. This is why solution dyed yarns are inherently stain resistant. The color pigment is 100% integrated into the yarn fiber during extrusion for permanent color.
